The smarter way to find the right gift
Find gift ideas that feel like them.
The best gifts aren't just about what someone likes. They're about how they like things. Tell us a little about their personality, interests and your budget. We'll help you find ideas that fit.

How it works
A few answers. Better possibilities.
You don't need to know everything about someone. Even a little context helps us move beyond another generic gift list.
01 / THE PERSON
Tell us who they are
Choose who you're shopping for, the occasion, your budget and up to three interests.
02 / THE PERSONALITY
Share what they're like
Six simple, optional questions, one at a time, show whether they might prefer the familiar or surprising, quiet or social, practical or spontaneous.
03 / THE IDEAS
Explore better-matched gifts
Get a short personality summary and 20 ideas from live searches, grouped by interest and within your budget.
The difference
Two people can share a hobby.
And love completely different gifts.
A gardening fan might adore an experimental grow kit—or prefer a beautifully made tool they'll use for years. Interests tell us where to look. Personality helps us think about what kind of gift to look for.
Openness
Do they enjoy trying new things, or return happily to trusted favorites?
Extraversion
Do they light up around people, or recharge with quieter experiences?
Conscientiousness
Do they value planning and usefulness, or prefer more spontaneous choices?
These are informal prompts inspired by Big Five personality research, not a validated psychological assessment. Read how personality affects gift preferences.

The research behind it
Why These Three Traits
Gift ideas fit better when they start with what you already know about the person. Our quiz asks two quick questions about each of three Big Five personality traits: openness (new things or familiar favorites), conscientiousness (organized or easygoing) and extraversion (lively company or quiet time). Research links these traits to how people shop and respond to tailored messages, but we have not found studies showing which gifts people prefer. So your answers are a starting point alongside interests and budget. This is research-informed guidance, not a validated personality test, and it cannot promise a perfect gift.
